Benefits of Human Growth Hormone

HGH is produced by the pituitary gland, and it is the hormone responsible for regulating, well, growth! In addition, it regulates body temperature, sugar and fat metabolism, and possibly heart function.

Benefits of HGH on skin

Human growth hormone is the only anti-aging hormone known to actually make people look younger. The skin of older people tends to become papery thin and lose its firm texture. Aging leads to the slowdown in the production of human growth hormone. HGH increases the synthesis of new proteins that lie underneath skin structure, in the dermal layer.

HGH works together with collagen to maintain skin and muscle composition. Collagen and elastin are the building blocks of the dermis, which is the next layer of skin beneath the epidermis. HGH restores the turgor, or bounciness, that is characteristic of young skin, so the skin bounces back more readily on a pinch test, becomes better toned, and sags less.

Benefits of in children

There are several hormones involved in regulating growth in children, HGH being one of them. Some act directly on target organs, while others act by triggering the production of other hormones, which activate specific organ functions necessary for growth. This finely tuned system can malfunction in several ways, causing abnormal growth.

How GH causes growth in children

Growth hormone is an anterior pituitary hormone whose main effect is to promote growth of body tissues. The HGH deficiency may occur by itself or in combination with one or more other pituitary hormone deficiencies. HGH deficiency may be total, where no growth hormone is produced or partial where some hormone is produced but not enough to support normal growth.

The main action of GH is to cause the liver to produce a hormone called insulin-like growth hormone-I (IGF-1). IGF-1 plays an important role in the growth and development of children. GH acts directly and via IGF-1 to stimulate growth in the long bones of children, such as the thigh bone (femur) and arm bone (humerus).

Effects of GH deficiency in children

Children with growth hormone deficiency are often small, with an immature face and chubby body build. The rate of growth of all body parts is slow, so that the child’s proportions remain normal. Intelligence is normal. If the child’s height has been plotted on a growth chart, it will appear to be leveling off and falling away from the child’s established growth curve.

If growth failure has been present for a long time, the child may be much shorter than other children the same age. This is why height and weight measurements plotted on a growth chart are so important – the earlier a treatable growth problem is detected, the better the child’s chance of maintaining a normal height throughout childhood and realizing his or her full growth potential.

HGH and obesity and weight loss

Obesity and weight loss come as a result of reduction in the secretion of growth hormone. It is well established that adult growth hormone deficiency (GHD) usually is accompanied by an increase in fat accumulation. The replacement of GH in adult patients with GHD results in reduction of fat mass and abdominal fat mass in particular. It is also noted that obesity and abdominal obesity in particular results in a secondary reduction in GH secretion and subnormal insulin-like growth factor-I (IGF-I) levels.

1. Obesity

Obesity is a strong inhibitor of HGH secretion. It is now a leading risk factor for internal inflammation, oxidative stress and diseases like adult-onset diabetes (type II), heart disease, high blood pressure, and some forms of cancer.

In clinical studies examining the effectiveness of GH in obese subjects very little or no effect are observed with respect to weight loss, whereas GH seems to reduce total and abdominal fat mass in obese subjects. The observed reductions in abdominal fat mass are modest and similar to what can be achieved by diet or exercise interventions.

2. Weight loss

According to KIM CRAWFORD, M.D: “Human growth hormone (HGH) may be one of the most effective fat-loss regimens ever discovered. Moreover, HGH therapy causes an average loss of more than 4.6 pounds of body fat, most of this in the abdomen.”

HGH causes the melting away of fat and building muscle. In many cases, people look like they’ve shed years away with the fat. Even better, the greatest loss occurs in the deep belly fat, the area that is not only the bane of aging men and women but is most often associated with increased risk of heart attack.

Why is growth hormone used to manage obesity?

According to Virtual Medical Center: ”Obese individuals are known to have low levels of GH. Growth hormone reduces obesity through its actions on two enzymes which control lipolysis (breakdown of stored triglycerides into free fatty acids) and lipogenesis (fat accumulation). These hormones are lipoprotein lipase (LPL) and hormone sensitive lipase (HSL).”

GH reduces the uptake of free fatty acids by adipocytes (fat storage cells). It inhibits LPL, which controls the buildup of triglycerides in fatty tissue. LPL breaks down triglycerides, releasing free fatty acids (FFAs) which may then be taken up by fat cells. GH also encourages the body to use FFAs as an energy source, and to reduce the use of sugars (glucose) and proteins for energy.

GH also has a direct impact on the number and maturity of fat cells. Through IGF-1, GH stimulates production of pre-fat cells; however, GH then prevents them from maturing.GH opposes skeletal muscle breakdown during fasting. When an individual is eating very few calories, GH encourages the use of fat for energy rather than sugar or proteins. This prevents the breakdown of muscles in order to produce proteins for energy.

HGH injections

HGH and testosterone injections and supplements can help boost the low level of HGH and this makes an individual feel younger as they approach their middle age.

HGH injections are used in the treatment of growth hormone deficiency.  Most children receive injections daily; others receive it six times a week; and, a few receive it three times a week.* There is usually a prompt increase in growth rate after treatment starts, which may be noticeable to the child and parent in 3 to 4 months. This faster than-normal growth rate slowly declines over time, but it continues to be greater than would occur without treatment. Many parents notice an increase in the child’s appetite and loss of body fat after deficiency begins.

GH injection has been used by Doctors for years in children who suffer from abnormal growth problems, and it is sometimes used to regulate blood sugar in diabetics. HGH injections and supplements are only legal when prescribed by a Doctor and it is illegal to distribute HGH for any reasons other than medical use, though you can purchase supplements, as most people use them as synthetic version of the hormone.

HGH and testosterone injections

Boosting human growth hormone is very important in relation to increasing testosterone hormone levels in the human body, as they both rise in correlation to each other. However, human growth hormone and testosterone are two different hormones which perform different functions and operate in very different ways.

Most bodybuilders commonly turn to testosterone supplements like TestRx and Provacyl to build muscle mass, and help boost their athletic performance. A testosterone and HGH stack injection is one of the most popular combinations to get the most benefit.

When HGH and testosterone supplements like TestRX are stacked, the potential benefits are much greater than the individual benefits of each hormone. HGH and testosterone stack can help with extraordinary muscle growth, and the combination makes growth hormone factors work faster.
